Tria Prima 2 Year Old Batch 1 That Boutique-y Malt Company Return To Oz

A part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Return to Oz collection showcasing the best of Australian whisky, this single malt comes from Tria Prima distillery – located close to Mount Barker, South Australia. The expression has been matured for two years in an ex-Grant Burge, first-fill Tawny cask. The distillery, founded in 2017, shares its name with the three primary qualities of alchemy, and therefore its founder is represented on the bottle as a whisky wizard. The blue ringed octopus is the deadly animal chosen to represent Tria Prima. Bottled at 51.2% abv.

Expect aromas of plum and apricot mixed with dried fruits and sweet caramel. The palate opens with more fruits: figs and dried plums blend with dark chocolate and a hint of BBQ sauce.
