Overeem 5 Year Old That Boutique-y Whisky Company Return To Oz

As part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Return to Oz collection showcasing the best of Australian whisky, Overeem hails from the recently revived Overeem distillery – the first ever whisky distillery in Tasmania. A five year old single malt, matured in an ex-Apera wine cask. On the bottle, the Tasmania-based Jack Jumper Ant is the deadly animal chosen to represent Overeem, alongside a spoof of the Star Wars A New Hope poster with the owners of the distillery. Bottled at 50% abv.

Expect aromas of dark chocolate, dried fruits, mixed spice and hazelnut, leading to a bold palate of more rich cocoa and hazelnuts, with raisins and peppery spices which linger on for a spicy finish.
