Mount Gay Black Barrel

A sumptuous, complex dram from Mount Gay. This rum was matured in ex-American whiskey casks before being finished in heavily charred bourbon casks before being bottled at 43% abv.

The nose is creamy with notes baking spices and raisins. Citrus, rose water, and ginger arrive on the palate before leading into the long and warming finish.
